Whether you are a new or experienced alpaca breeder, a vendor, or just interested in learning more about alpacas, we invite you to attend the Palmetto Alpaca Classic show.  Attendance is open and free to the general public.  Families welcome.  Come enjoy the showring competition, fiber artists, seminars, alpaca garments for sale, a silent auction and more.

The Alpaca Small Farm Network’s first alpaca show, the Palmetto Alpaca Classic, was held in Clemson, South Carolina, on November 18-20, 2005 in partnership with the Southeastern Alpaca Association.  The Palmetto Alpaca Classic was the first AOBA-certified show in the Carolinas.  The Alpaca Small Farm Network hosted the second Palmetto Classic in Clemson, South Carolina, on April 7-8, 2007.  Below are a sampling of vendor/participant comments (all from non-ASFN members) about the Palmetto Alpaca Classic:

"We thank you for the wonderful greetings, show, and opportunity to meet people. Great job!"

"We were so impressed with the Palmetto Classic. Everything was done first-class."

"Amazing job... surely want to come back."

"You all did a fabulous job! It really went well, better than some shows that have been running for a few years."

"Thank you ... for all your hard work. It was a pleasure showing animals and being a vendor at the Palmetto. We look forward to the next Palmetto Classic!"
