Alpacas produce one of the world's finest and most luxurious natural fibers. Alpaca fiber is shorn annually without injuring the animal. Hypoallergenic, soft as cashmere, and warmer, lighter and stronger than wool, alpaca fiber comes in more natural colors than any other fiber-producing animal -- approximately 22 basic colors, with many variations possible through color blending. Alpaca fleece was historically reserved for Incan royalty, but is now enjoyed by fiber artists and consumers around the world.

Liberty Hill Alpaca Farm Store We specialize in only the finest of quality in alpaca products. Our line is primarily Lanart products with the intention of becoming strictly Lanart as soon as we sell the few pieces that aren't Lanart. We believe that alpaca products should reflect the true feel of the alpaca; and we steer clear of products that contain very little alpaca blended with lots of some other type of fiber. Quality alpaca products should feel soft to the touch, not scratchy. Whether you buy from us or someone else, please remember that. It's all about the quality.
